It's not mandated. Even for those in the medical field, its not mandated.
Even if it was, it would be like the flu vaccine. Restrictions might encourage you to take it, but no one will hold you down and ram a needle into you.
According to recent reports, if everyone on the planet was willing to get vaccinated when it becomes available, it will still take years to get 80% vaccinated, so global herd immunity is in the distance.
Also, viral variants are emerging, and no one knows if the vaccines they are currently rolling out will be effective for them.
There are also different vaccines, so everyone needs to consider their current state of health, talk to their doctors, and make their own choices. One vaccine might not be right for you, but another might.
Everything to do with the novel coronavirus is less than a year old. We dont have a full picture of what the virus can and will do, nor do we have a full picture of any outcomes from the vaccines.
The best anyone can do is make an educated guess.
Even Dr. Fauci said people with past allergic reactions to vaccines, or that dont metabolize medications well, should take a more 'wait and see' approach BECAUSE everything is so new. I appreciate his openness and honesty in that regard.
Anyway, for those that cant wait for it, its becoming available now - and for those that dont want it, no one is forcing you. You still have autonomy over your body.
On a side note, research is showing Vitamin D to be effective at preventing COVID, but be aware!
Research is also showing High Fructose Corn Syrup lowers your Vitamin D - de-activates it. So, there is no point in supplementing Vitamin D just to turn around and drink tons of soda and eat processed foods.
