I've opened a FB account and someone I knew literally at age 12-16 is continually trying to become my friend. I keep denying them. However, I can't send them a message because then they'll have access to my profile for a month which I don't want. Any ideas on how to tell this person Im not interested? TIA

I hate Facebook. I am very private and it is so intrusive. What is so great about it and who wants to know what someone is doing every minute etc. It is one of the weirdest sites I have seen and annoying as hell.

OP go create a new profile and tell them to stop contacting you. then ditch that profile and keep your OG one. simple as that.

Yes it is harrassment. I get a request every day from this person. It's been going on for almost two weeks now. I figured they would get the point but they haven't.
I wasn't aware that I could block them. Couldn't you have just said that in the first place?
