At the moment, there's only an advisory out for Robeson, Columbus, Brunswick, Pender, Bladen, Onslow and New Hanover counties, all in southeastern North Carolina. The storm is expected to reach those areas early Friday.

it all depends on how fast it moves. If it stalls it will be a drag all weekend. If it is a fastmoving storm it could be perfectly nice on Sat, just an unusual amount of yardwork to do. Every year I clean up the churchyard for the month of Sept.....usually get one or more Saturdays of hurricane cleanup at the church....I don't attend regularly and sort of wonder if God isn't having some fun with me......

The lastest forecasts say heavy rains, up to several inches may be in the charlotte area, especially east of I-77.

The part worst of the storm will be in the eastern half of the Carolinas,
Strong wind and heavy rains including tornados are possible.

(Remember it's still a tropical storn now but expected to become a Hurrican Cat 1 as it picks up energy on land)

But again they are still watching it's movement -

Tornado - I do not know who you are flying but I will check with them before going to the airport, it is to be in the area sometime Friday I think -

I also have anything from the airlines going to my cell too (in text form). The airport is only 1hr from me. Not bad.
