There is a big difference in exporting American values to other countries that have never had ours kind of rights versus a U.S. state that has taken rights away from its citizens by legalizing discrimination against them in a likely violation of the U.S. constitution.

You mean exporting money directly to the governments of countries that brutally oppress their people instead of supporting the businesses and citizens of North Carolina (that had very little to do with the legislation)? OK, yeah, not hypocritical at all.

McCrory's poll numbers have increased since the NCAA announcement. This looks like its beginning to backfire bigtime.

The NCAA is an unusual vehicle to choose for "exporting American values," unless you consider the raw exploitation of college athletes to be one of those values and the dumbing-down of higher education in pursuit of the 380-pound lineman who can barely read to be another of our "values."

Yeah, kind of like small government republicans passing laws expanding the role of state government while simultaneously usurping the right of cities to govern themselves isn't hypocritical at all.

A reputable poll has been taken and published in the past 24 hours? Link?

Let's see...

Charlotte mandated what people could do with their locker rooms and showers.
HB2 allows them the choice.

Seems pretty clear who big brother was in this case.

That poll was taken Sept. 11th and 12th, before the NCAA story broke. nice try though! Plus, the poll shows McCrory leading Cooper 45% to 40% in June, and 45% to 43% in September. Thus, his lead is not in fact increasing as you stated. So, only 2 lies in one post, not bad for you!

The announcement was the morning of the 12th. But fair enough, let's see what the next set say.
