Good luck to you and stay safe. If you get tired of the jigsaw puzzles and have a good PC you could go to https://store.steampowered.com/ and start gaming! They do even offer some free games. They do have some non-violent, puzzle based games, like 'The Room', 'The Room II', and 'The Room III'. There are also other good games of exploration that could help you get your mind off the mess we are in.
Thanks Mr. fish, but I don't do those games. Your suggestion is a good one for those who like that type of thing; I'm more the cerebral type. I like word puzzles, number puzzles, jigsaws. I have a good supply of those so I'm set for as long as the internet holds up.

Way back when video games were just starting, I used to go to the mall to shop and drop my youngest son at the arcade. When I went to pick him up I would drop a quarter in the slot and by the time I figured out what I was supposed to do, the "loser" sign came up. lol I couldn't even win at PacMan. I did get really good at Space Invaders when I had a Game Boy, and Tetris kept me going for a while.

Obviously, there's something for everyone on the internet.

The Room that I recommended is simply a room with a chest inside and you have to figure out how to open the chest: The Room •. My wife used to love playing games like that. She also enjoyed the hidden object games. I would give her a hand if she got stuck. I am more into the roll playing games like Skyrim (which was one of my favorites). Now I am playing 'Assassin's Creed Odyssey' which I just got on sale. Many of these games are better science fiction than what is in the movies or on TV today.

Anyway; have a great day and stay safe. The cases in our State and counties skyrocketed today. Scary times!

That looks like fun. I loved playing Myst years ago.

My wife did too! Looking back it was so primitive compared to the games that followed. She was always bugging me to find one of those stupid things that, if you did not look in the exact right spot, you would never find. She also enjoyed "Dreamfall: The Longest Journey". Which is sold on "Steam" right now for $9.99.

I used to ask my son for help. He even became interested in a couple of levels. We ended the game together.

My son uses Steam. I'll ask him about that.

I had no idea what would eventually happen when I sat him in front of a computer and introduced him to Mixed-Up Mother Goose.

His game of choice these days is Counter-Strike. He has a team and they live stream.

The three "The Room" games are all available on Steam. The original and number 2 are only $4.99 each and '3' is $5.99. I did not look to see if Steam has any of the original Myst games because I would be afraid they are too old to play on today's computers. Amazon sells the collection of Myst; but they are only listed to play on Windows 95. That is one of the best things about Steam, if you cannot get the game to play on a computer; they will refund your money. They try to help you first and then refund the cost to your 'wallet' so you can buy one that works.

I tried the multiplayer games; but I could never find 'friends' that showed up when they said they would. So then I would end up with other friends that also did not show up when they said they would! I stick to my 'single-player' games because I show up when I feel like it! It is one of the reasons I also hated to car pool. I always wanted to be early and others did not. Of course it is hard to find car poolers when I live only a mile and a half away from work! At one time I was working out of Carlisle and I did not like waiting for others to show up. Of course it is hard to keep your distance with a car pool!

My wife also liked the Big Fish games; which many are more kids games. But she liked their hidden object games. Here is a link to Big Fish: https://www.bigfishgames.com/us/en.html. While we bought some of them from Steam, Walmart used to (probably still does?) sell hard copies that would contain many of their games on one disc. She was mainly interested in their hidden object games; but they feature 'casino' and board games as well.

These are good ways to pass the time when you have time to pass. Check it out with your son.

They should have shut down our country many weeks ago, when the very first patient was shown the have the virus in the state of Washington. They haven't even shut down the states to my knowledge, people are still traveling, going to state parks, hiking....even though all the parks are shut down. I belong to a Kentucky Forum and they are traveling two and three hours, to get here. Insane. Yesterday or Friday, we were all told to PLEASE not travel into Nashville, but they still do it? I don't understand the down right defiance of the people not to listen? I really don't Fisheye...it is disturbing...not to mention our leaders are afraid to shut the states down? Why? They knew how bad this was from the reports coming out of Italy and China, and yet they didn't shut us down and still have not?

There were a whole lot of people traveling back and forth to these hot spot and they didn't shut us down...they continued to allow people to come in and out of the USA, and NYC it a perfect example....now look...Atlanta is bad, New Orleans, you look at all the major cities and surrounding areas and that is where the virus has been spreading.

Plus after living in Monroe County I know that a lot of people who live there travel into NYC to work...and of course we know that NYC is infected with it...

People refuse to listen, which is why we need laws and rules....but I fear our leaders acted much to late to contain this and protect Americans....Wolf should have shut the state down....

Philadelphia is also having large cases.....if you think about it....where most people travel in and out of is where the most cases are happening, and yet, people still are traveling way too much? My personal opinions only.

Fisheye, the police finally went to my friend's house. He wasn't happy. LOL He asked, "Well, why did you go and do something like that?" Because it's still too cool for the neighbors to smell you if you died in there?
