My son brought over a pizza from Maroni's tonite. Why the american cheese?? I really want to know why put american cheese on pizza?

Because if they used the same old mozzarella, like every other pizza joint.

I still haven't figured it out yet. Pizza is an Italian dish, so why use American? That's like putting provolone or swiss on an American hoagie. I tried Maroni's once and it was horrible, like the rest of the OF stuff they pass off as pizza.

I know. We will never understand it, we didn't grow up with it. I just don't believe it qualifies as real pizza.
