Unfortunately, no. I live on a hill, and the side yards are fairly steep and full of large bushes. So, the driveway is the only place they can dump it. But that's ok, my grandsons help out and then afterwards we have a family party, so it's kind of fun.

I'm glad you have help. And then celebrate afterwards!

I just had to turn on the air for the first time in weeks. Unbelievable. It's 80 degrees in my apartment (with the windows open!) ICK! When will Fall get here?!

I'm in the minority in that I prefer this weather over what we'll get come December onwards. In fact, it's been too chilly for me in the mornings lately -- sucks to wake up in the dark and have to walk the dog in something more than PJs. I'm debating throwing the heavy blanket on my bed, as nights are now quite cold to me. And it's only going to get worse. I love warmish autumn days but can do without the cold.

Autumn is by far the best season. It can't get here fast enough! I love the fall colors and crisp air and the smell of rotting leaves. And I'll be praying hard to the snow demons for another glorious winter! This weather lately has been too hot and way too dry. But the mornings have been quite brisk here in the Valley. Even some trees are starting to change. Probably a combo of drought and cool temps at night.

Gotta second the 'neverending summer' complaints (just noticed this thread). I'm sick of the warm, humid ickiness, too. Usually I can find something to like about every season (and late night walks/bike rides in the summer are really cool), but with the weather over the past few days (minus today.. or yesterday, rather ), I've been gearing up for chilly and spooky, dammit. (And cold-weather clothes are just better, too.)

I am sooo over summer here! My idea of perfect fall weather is temps in the 60's, not the 90's. I have had my air on mostly for the humidity. Yesterday was horrible! I have to keep reminding myself that I'm not in Michigan or New England any more.

mine too, I am so ready to be able and throw on a light jacket before heading outside, tomorrow will be the worst. Hopefully the forecasters are right and Sunday will bring the fall temps we are ready for.

Personally, I want some rain. I think I must have been an azalea in a former life, because I love overcast, rainy days. (Although sunny, crisp autumn days are a pleasure, too.)

Rain would be nice, if the forecast holds true we have a chance for some rain next week. The forecasters have been right about the heat so hopefully they will be right about the rain, we definately need some.

Fall is my favorite season, I love the colors, the briskness of the temps and fall colors are my favorite colors, so come on fall.
