Well, I don't know which Branch they would be placing me. The recruiter basically told me to choose a city. Or charlotte haha (nothing against charlotte, I'm just a city kid)

I would not want to live in college park if I did not have affiliation to the university. There's not much else going on in the area.

I dont know the salary, I'm sure it will increase about 10K to adjust to COL. So I'm guessing 48k in charlotte, and 58-60k for nova.

I think you would need to make more than $10,000 more in Nova to make it a comparable offer from Charlotte.

Thats what I was thinking. On glassdoor.com the position says 49k for charlotte & 60K for Washington DC, but boston is reading 65K. Boston and DC usually pays the same? I know Glassdoor isn't 100% accurate, but it's usually close. Maybe the person making 65 negotiated. Anyway I think I'm going to go with the silver springs area.
I didn't mention it before, but it says college park/silver spring/ greenbelt.

A website that compares cost of livings said, 48k in charlotte is 76 in DC. I know there is no way they're going to paying me 76k. How the heck do young professionals survive in the dmv area.
