ran across this page by accident. brings back a lot of memories as i grew up in Warren. Graduated from St. Mary high and ate plenty of hot dogs at the original hot dog shoppe. used to dance at the y every friday night. agreat town to grow up in. back there in 2000 for my wifes 50th from harding. the town has changed but not really.

Lol! I was thinking the same exact thing. I went to St.James,then St. Peter and Paul and finally Harding. Left in 92 in the Navy and moved to Queens,NY and Norfolk,VA. Ohioan architecture of the gilded era long gone by (quite ugly on its own, IMHO) mixed with cloudy, gray, rainy skies and lots of neglect may produce unstable mental conditions of various severity in the borderline type personalities. It's a liability, be careful posting those pics

I know this is old but I need to boost this back up again. Cortlandgirl, it is beautiful, I love old small towns like this.

I drove through Warren Ohio but it was brief so we did not get the chance to really drive through. I'd love living in small downtowns like that.

I'm amused and sad at the same time to see all those old schools in that video, because I helped to tear most of them down.

I was happy to see they used the facade of the old WHHS in the video, though. When they have to tear down the new WHHS, in 50 years, they can build the new school behind the original facade again.
