that sounds sad, hopefully things get better for Ohio

i was going to take a job at Wayne County but I changed my mind at the last minute

i'm going to do the research on what areas voted for who

2004 Presidential General Election Results - Ohio

thats from the 2004 election

umm right now Ohio is described as a toss-up state:

Pollster.com - Political Poll Trends, Charts and Analysis

but if you put your cursor on the state it shows McCain leads by a few points

so . . .

1) How do you feel about Ohio voting for Bush twice?

2) And how do you feel about McCain in the lead in Ohio?

i'm trying to get insight and understanding on how the people of Ohio see themselves

i'm not saying I support McCain or Obama, nor am i saying voting for Bush was a bad idea
Ohio actually votes about 50/50. A few points over for Bush doesn't mean the whole state voted for him. Same for the current election. I personally know more folks who are for Obama. Growing up, the amount of Dems/Repubs were always evenly split. I'm a Dem but my two best friends are GOP. Not unusual here.

Being raised in Toledo, I am Democrat to the bone.

1. I am disgusted with Ohio because it is partly to blame for the economic crisis we are in, not just for electing, but re-electing someone who believes in such free-market economy. The urban voters need to get out and overpower the rural folk this time around.

2. As of right now, McCain is not in the lead (FiveThirtyEight.com: Electoral Projections Done Right) which is great news for this country. I lost all respect for McCain when he brought an incredibly inexperienced woman onto the ticket just for political reasons. It stirred up the Republican base, but not very many others, and it shows his poor decision making skills.

PS I made a Facebook group entitled "I Hate Southern Ohio" a few weeks ago that coincides with this topic.

Unfortunatley, it seems like about 51% of Ohio voters are utter morons. C'mon, the Stripper law for crying out loud? Completely idiotic. However, if we vote for Obama, Issue 2, and Casinos, this statment will have to be repealed, and I will be very happy.

How do I feel about the way my fellow Ohioans vote? They have the right to vote any way they want. The majority don't always vote like I do, but that is their right. This is a Democracy, after all.

You know?? I dont know what is wrong with the people in that state.
I was there for two years in the NW part and it was a disaster everywhere.
So sad cause the people are very nice there.
They need to throw out their politians and get new ones for sure.

I am a Democrat and will be indeed voting for Obama. Biden is a great running mate as well.
