IDK but I have lived in OKC all my life and I love it. It is a god fearing good place to raise a proper family. Not sure what progressive means but there has been a lot of progress as far as development goes. Especially after we have a major tornado come through which is pretty common place nowaday; especially with global warming. Whatever ends getting ruined is replaced with something new and improved most of the time. And what ever your religion is we have plenty of great churches to accommodate you are your kin. Oh and the food is here is simply to die for. Especially if you like noodling you can catch some gourmet cats the size of your dog all day long. I love it here and cannot see why anyone else would not.

You should check out [URL="http://www.cap28okc.com"]www.cap28okc.com[/URL]! We might have something your looking for size and price wise! Plus you are close to everything that everyone above has mentioned! The cool thing about OKC is its small enough you can live a couple of miles outside of the downtown area, but still be really close. I highly recommend it!

I totally agree ORU campus is hideous! That area of town is, for that matter. The links above are great and really give you a better idea what our fabulous city has to offer. Its a shame you didn't have more time or information to see the other parts of town, the unique architecture, quaint shops, funky neighborhoods, etc. I love Tulsa.
