It's still not crystal clear what happened to Carroll Rosenbloom. (And who did it.)

Demonstrate some intestinal fortitude...uh, never mind, I think "you" already know the answer to that one. Have a good life. Losers.
Hey everybody it's Al Davis. Al, welcome to CD!

The Rams never won the Superbowl in Los Angeles.

So I'm curious, are there any Rams fans left in Orange County? Raiders are still pretty popular in Los Angeles, so what about the Rams?

And what team do most people in Orange County cheer for, if not the Rams?
actually I think there are Rams fans all over So Calif or there were. Remember most still think of them as the Los Angeles Rams. I kept my loyalty for several years. I have to admit, I am not a fan anymore. of course I don't live in So Ca anymore, but I don't live in D.C. either and am still a Redskins fan.

I just hope the Los Angeles area gets an NFL team soon. It is unbeleivbale the second largest city in our country doesn't have a major league football team.

I can imagine what watching football from a baseball stadium was like. I remember watching baseball in the Coliseum, same thing, but we were so excited about major league baseball we did it anyway.

wow, just read the entire posting, I didn't realize how old this thread is..still a good subject...

As a native of So Cal I was born and raised to be an L.A. Rams fan. Loved that team. And when they were in Anaheim I lived near their training facility so I'd see team members all the time. Even had a few as neighbors in Anaheim Shores. Great fun for a fan.

And then Georgia came along. 'Nuff said.

It simply broke my heart when they moved to STL. And it became hard to follow them since we non-cable people were suddenly getting the Chargers games. I just couldn't work up any passion for that team.

Then Kurt Warner came along and won the S.B. but for me they just weren't "my" Rams anymore.

Fast forward a few years and I move to a small town north of Phoenix. And I have a team! (A horrible team, but, hey, it's a home-town team.) And their second-string QB is one Kurt Warner. 2008 training camp comes, Warner wins the job of starting QB and we go to the Super Bowl. This sorry, not-very-good-at-all football club is in the Super Bowl. And now we're making another run for it. Dang, it feels good! Don't know how that will come out, but who knows? I LOVE this team.

And I've been slowly converting a lot of my old O.C. friends to Cardinals fans. That's the best part.

Now, all of that said..... I hope L.A. gets an NFL team!

Default Rams Fan...

I found an Autographed photo of Jim Youngblood that I had him sign back in the 70's. I thought it might be worth something to someone. Let me know if you are the one.

Like an earlier commenter, I deeply resented what the Rams did to Anaheim Stadium, a nice little ballpark that became just another impersonal edifice with tens of thousands of added empty seats.

However, it was mainly Georgia Frontiere, or as the late, great Jim Healy called her, "Madam Ram," who, along with that idiot Ray Malavasi, who killed pro football for me. I haven't watched a regular season game since before they left.

And I couldn't care less if pro football ever comes back to the L.A./OC area.
