I couldn't find the legendary tape of Ray Malavasi snoring during a phone interview the morning after a Ram game. It's out there somewhere but it wasn't on the Healy site.

I grew-up just down the 57 from Anaheim Stadium and remember the Rams quite well. I've read somewhere that if L.A. gets a football team, the Rams would be candidates to move. (I don't remember all the reasons why.) I can see it now... for one year leading up to the move, and for the first season, L.A. and O.C. people will be all excited and lots and lots of folks will be on the "Rams are Back" bandwagon. Once everyone remembers how much they suck and what an annoying disappointment they are, everyone will go back to hating them... and L.A. will loose it's football franchise (yet again) within 10 years.

I grew up in Orange County and was born in 1978. This was not as much of a sports town in the 1980s like it is now. I remember bumper stickers just before the Rams left. THey said: "Go Rams! And Take the Angels with you." ha. Times have changed here.
