Same forest area as the Doerner Fir in southern Oregon, is the Orphic Rock Waterfall. 2 hour drive from Bandon.

I've done extensive travelling through Oregon from the Cascades to the coast, but never on the eastern/central side of Oregon. My family spent the 4th of July week in Bend/Sunriver and I found another gorgeous side of this state.

Smith Rock

Default Oregon Ghost Towns (Pictures!)

This weekend, I drove 900 miles in two days through Eastern and Central Oregon, visited 13 ghost towns, two historic sites and took about 400 pictures. Below are some of those pictures! Enjoy!

Echo Oregon and Fort Henrietta

Cabell City not a Ghost Town exactly, but a definite gold mill site.
