I don't need to get out more when we're talking about "the biggest acts". I may not like NSYNC or Backstreet Boys or Creed but I know of them. Its not about getting out or not, its about you naming a bunch of no-name bands. Creed had 3 multiplatinum albums. NSYNC had an album go 10x Platinum and numerous other albums hit the platinum. Then you name Trivium: 0 awards, 0 platinum. No Address as best I can tell has 2 albums, none of which went platinum, no awards and only lasted for a few years. The Supervillains has never gone platinum or won awards... or even had their own tour. Of course I also wouldn't call "RA RA RA Records" a major record label Between The Trees from what I see made 2 albums and the second one they had to produce themselves - they're not even signed.

I could drop that my favorite local artist is Prote-j who is affiliated with here, produces here, lives here and talks about here in some of his tracks. It doesn't change that chances are I'm the only one here thats ever heard of him and its completely irrelevant to the topic.
