Here are a couple of cool ideas to chill your beverages this summer.
Cut oranges, lemons and/or limes into chunks, leaving the rinds on. Put them on a tray and into the freezer for 4 to 5 hours.
A variation is to take a couple of 1/4" slices of citrus fruit and place them in the cups of a muffin tin. Fill the cups with water and freeze overnight.
Use your citrus ice cubes to cool your favorite beverages without diluting them as regular ice cubes would. The first method won't dilute your drink at all; the second just a little.
Now, where's my margarita?

What a great idea! that's really refreshing for iced tea, you could probably put some watermelon..or cherries....
Yes, Izzy! Some of the sources I looked at said you could use all sorts of fruits and berries. Citrus works best for imparting more flavor to the beverage, though.

Oh my! I absolutely love this tip, Pam. What a great idea and I particularly like the idea of using a muffin tin. I'm going to the green grocer tomorrow and I'm going to buy lemons and limes.
