You don't remember LBJ?

I can remember as far back as JFK. I remember when Dad went to Vietnam and I remember when he came back. I remember going to his military retirement party and then we moved downtown.

Best of Bread was a great album. But there were a lot of great albums back then. How about America's Greatest Hits. Or Sgt Pepper's?

I remember the dinosaur gas station. What was it?

And I remember all the good sitcoms and watching Star Trek on my parents big console TV set with the big remote that made grinding sounds when the channel changed. I remember when we had a black and white with rabbit ears and a big radio with tubes in it that got blazing hot when it was on.

Got a pong set for Christmas one year.

Sinclair. They're all over the place again in the last three or so years in my area. I doubt it's the original company; probably a purchaser of the IP.

Dallas tv series. I remember being able to take a hot bath on Saturday evening. We, my parents, brother and I, used to live on the 7th floor in a 10 floor building. Getting hot water was not easy, we had to let the water run for a long time in order to get it hot.

We had a neighbor above us, on the 8th floor that used to take a hot bath every Saturday before Dallas. We could hear the water running, him in his bathroom etc. Thin walls. Anyway...after he was done with waiting for his cold water in the pipes to get hot, we knew for sure that we'll get hot water right away. So I jumped in the bathtub and had my bath and I always miss 1/2 of Dallas, I mean 1/2 of the episode. I would let the bathroom door open a little and ask mom once in a while:"What happened?" and she would tell me. Shouting of course so we could hear each other.

Every time I met that guy in the elevator, I had this urge to laugh like crazy and thank him for his weekly Saturday bath. I was very polite with him, of course. Extra polite. He told mom that she raised me very well. Ha ha, she knew my reasons for being always respectful and polite with him.
