I eat breakfasts on weekends. (I dont want anything to eat until I've been up for an hour or more and weekdays just dont fit into that schedule - at least, not until I retire later this year.)
I love Maple and Brown Sugar Oatmeal. I'm enjoying that right now as I listed to the humming of two Roombas (vacuum cleaning robots), a Scooba (floor-washing robot), the dishwasher and the washing machine. (I cant wait for furniture-dusting robots to be available.) Then, after eating breakfast, I'm going to rest up from all this hard housework by taking a short nap.
So....I somehow landed back in June reading what people ate for breakfast back then!! Hmmmm...so if I commented on your choices from back in June it's because i got lost in cd world somehow!! LOL But..you sure had some yummy breakfast choices back then if I do say so myself!! (and I do) By the way.............I made a brunch of broccoli and cheese quiche and berries mixed into vanilla yogurt today.
Yes I did. But I didn't really care what I ate. I didn't go to work to catch up early this AM like I normally do. I took my daughter and my 3 month old grandson to breakfast. I held him while she got a chance to eat and relax. Her husband, who has been dealing with a terrible flu this week, joined us and ate for the first time in a few days.
My grandson got a little fussy, so I ate a few bites of eggs and pancakes and then walked him outside while they got a chance to talk. That sweet baby fell asleep on my shoulder, and they held hands over breakfast.
Grits & eggs with low-fat turkey bacon and toast with orange juice.
