Ok, I finally thought of something! Our local Dallas magazine published a letter I wrote about being pro-life in it! I also had a letter published in the ladies magazine, Family Circle, a few years ago...again on a pro-life topic! Also, numerous letters published in the Dallas newspaper. Would anyone say I just might be "opinionated?" Now, of course, I don't have to write so many opinion piece type letters cuz.....I just blast my opinion on good ol' C-D forums!!
What would claim as your 15 mins of fame ?
It's not exactly 15 minutes, more like 15 months... in my room on City Data! - Actually, it's probably about 15 seconds, you can't see me very well, but I was an extra in the movie The Gauntlet (sorry to say ) It was when the bus was going through downtown Phoenix, and it made a left turn to go towards what was City Hall in the movie. In real life it's Symphony Hall. I was one of the people standing on the corner in the distance, wearing a t-shirt and jeans. A lot of the final scenes in the movie were filmed in downtown Phoenix on Memorial Day weekend in 1977, and the scene where the bus crashes into the stairs and the ending scene was done on the Sunday following memorial day.
