Well yes, obviously. Are you really going to still call it a salad, then?

How about "a concoction of all my favorite things with a bit of lettuce on the side"?

Rkb - thanks for digging up the Monty Python sketch. . That phrase became such a part of our vernacular that I forgot it's origin.

Tonight I fried cabbage.... it was actually pretty good. Word on the street is beets will be in our farm share Monday - I hate beets. What to do?

DS did bring home 2 dozen eggs today though which was nice. We get the free ones when he washes eggs. Hmmmm.....maybe I'll have to make a cobb salad this week!

Any idea as to why this chick hasn't found her soul mate yet? Here's her eHarmony video:

Haha. I'm freaking paranoid about sun protection. My skin is quite fair, and I don't want cancer. That means I use lots of sunblock year round out here. When I work I actually put it on three times a day, in the morning, my lunch, and before I leave. Why? The room I usually work in is very, very sunny. Plus, I have two awesome sunhats. My husband makes fun of them, but I would rather protect my skin than make a fashion statement.

I haven't been here a lot because work has been just tiring me out. It's worth it for the three day weekends, though.

HA - I love this. I just want to tell her that she has a high likelihood of getting her wish for a house full of cats, cats in baskets, cats and rainbows, etc. Soul mate? That may be a long time coming!

But seriously, what would make you watch this video and say "yup, that's the first impression I want to make on prospective partners"???????

Good Morning All!

Ewag - I know right? She definitely has a high likelihood of turning into a proverbial "cat-lady". I can't imagine the type of bloke that would find that appealing! BTW where in Seattle did you live? We lived in Kent and then Woodinville for 9 years.

Psr - I'm also the dork with the big hat. Good to see you.

I'm pretty sure that video is a hoax/joke/intentionally ridiculous. There aren't any actual tears coming out of her eyes but she keeps wiping them

Morning!

MrFR showed me that video the other day, and said exactly the same thing as you, Ewag. Though I never considered it to be a hoax. Gullible's not in the dictionary, you know.

Maybe there's a Mr. "I love cats - sob!" out there somewhere - someone for everyone I guess????

We lived in South Park on the south side of the city (right next to Georgetown) for 2 years and in Renton for 3 years (the name of the development is escaping me right now, but it was up near the Highlands, Issaquah school district). DH and I both worked within a few blocks of Pike Place Market - good times!

So what brought you to (and from) Seattle?
