I think DH's Diverticulitis has flared up again. So no popcorn for him. DS would be totally good with cereal. He usually has a bowl every night anyway after eating dinner.
Ugh...DH has that too....had an ugly ER visit a couple of years ago with him ending up in ICU for 3 days. Not fun. His doctors told him he could still eat seeds and nuts as long as he chewed them really well. He doesn't eat much popcorn but I think he'd go throught withdrawal without pistachios or other nuts....

If she has popcorn I'm on it!

I could eat popcorn every day.

Did he have symptoms he was ignoring? (Typical guy). DH's cousin has had to have the surgery to take part of the intestines out because his got so bad.

Last time the antibiotics seemed to clear things up. We are assuming that's what this is again - doctor checked for kidney stones. But no - so gave prescription again. Fingers crossed.

I'm wondering what sink she keeps it under - bathroom? Kitchen? Cracks me up that it's under the sink. We like to just keep ours our in the open

No...no symptoms...he was fine and then not fine. He was actually back in the midwest visiting his family for a long weekend. He got there Thursday. Friday night he started having..."issues" (won't go into it but you get the gist). Went to the ER. They admitted him because he lost so much blood. To make matters worse, at some point he passed out, fell and broke his nose... He was in the ICU for 2-3 days and required a blood transfusion. A good friend of ours also had to have a segment of his intestines removed...we were really glad DH didn't have to go through that.

That was a really tough month in our home...It took us months for United to refund our "change fee" since he couldn't go home on his original flight..they kept "losing" the documentation.......When he finally did get home...the plane went to that random small airline terminal that makes you walk from outside in the basement somewhere..by the time I picked him up he was so exhausted he fell asleep on the way home from the airport. I'm so glad I insisted on picking him up then going back the next day to get his car!

Then, 2 weeks later, DD was in the hospital for a week with a serious kidney infection. Our insurance doesn't have out of state coverage (HMO) but I have to say, we had no problems with either instance with our insurance covering 100% (less the ER deductable)...very grateful for that. For awhile we were hesitant to leave the state though!
