But in other news more relevant to parenting, anyone know where I can find some Christmasy toddler/kids' PJs? Apparently I needed to buy them in October if I wanted them.
Can you fake it and go with all red and a Santa hat?

Totally. I am now looking at anything with red or green. Methinks I need to visit the clearance racks at a few stores...because it makes sense for holiday pajamas to go on clearance three weeks before the holiday? We have a family tradition of new PJs on Christmas Eve, so as long as it's PJs in general, it should work (first world problem ).
I am now remembering how unexcited we were to open the one gift on Christmas Eve that was from my Aunt Mary. She must have been in cahoots with my parents, because the boxes always held new pajamas. I don't recall ever having new pajamas at any other time of the year, come to think of it.
Thanks, Dew! Haha, Mattie! I must be a little weird because I was always excited by the new PJs on Chrsitmas Eve as a kid, after I figured out that we weren't getting a toy right before bed. Then again, the recurring item on every Christmas list I've made since I was in HS has been a box of socks. Fun socks, but socks nonetheless.
Ewag- We do the new PJs on Christmas Eve too. I think it started to make sure there were cute pictures in the morning. Don't want pics of kids seeing their presents and they are in raggedy PJs.
I also ask for fun socks. They are always my main stocking stuffer at my mom's, home and at the in-laws. Yes, we do stockings 3 times. lol
I can usually find DD's Christmas PJs at Target. Have you tried there?
