I would add the Diaper Genie.

so who is being sanctimonious? I was simply passing on information. We get inquiries on this forum all the time about what we think is necessary or not.

Saying something is a waste of money is rather sanctimonious, if you ask me...

Perhaps you didn't get use out of them, but phrase it that way instead of acting like your experience will apply to everyone

Really? NK posted a link, not her opinion of the products. And yes, the Diaper Genie, and fancy bedding, baby shoes, etc, qualify as a waste of money, because they do nothing to enhance the quality of life for the child.

If you have money to spare, spend it as you wish. Personally, I'd rather see the money put into a college account.

I did use a diaper genie, and loved it.

NoKudzo never said that. She posted an article and titled the thread with similar wording of the article title.

I had a wipe warmer for our oldest--it was great!! The rest of our kids just had to suffer though because it stopped working after a few months .

That rolling car seat would have been SO nice!!!

I love "any baby shoe." So true. Babies don't need shoes.

The only thing out of that list we have is the wipe warmer, and BULLPUCKY on it being a waste of money.
My kid would yelp when those wipes were cold. Right on his junkie. Poor guy.
