Hello All, my two brothers n I went to love at Kennedy Home in 1964. My name is Susan Valletutti. I loved it there. Sister Mary Herbert was the infirmary nun. She was big n tough. We were there for 3 years. My friends n I got caught smoking a cigarette by the nuns, and Father McManus made us smoke cigars. Lol. Got good n sick too. Sister Paul Marie was young n beautiful, n left the order, to marry. We were so happy for her. I remember the Color Wars we use to have on the grounds. Blue n Gold.
We use to see our father very often. I want in at 10yrs old n left at 13. I wanted to stay and live at Ladies Hall. Lol. But I realized that going home was fantastic. Does anyone remember me?
Please let me know. I'm Susan Leary now. In NC. Best of luck to you all
