He must not hate it too much since he didn't give it all away and go back to work. He also clearly used up every drop of imagination and creativity on Minecraft since with a billion dollars the only things he can think of doing is to over pay for a useless Beverly Hills mansion and wait for other people to get off work to entertain him.

If I was given/won a billion (post tax) dollars I'd absolutely quit my job. I probably wouldn't retire but I'd definitely be doing something other than work in an office stuck behind a computer all day. I'd hire an accountant/lawyer to setup some kind of trust and investment so I and my family would always have more than enough to live on and never need to work again.

I would stay at least a year or two. I enjoy my work, but also, it would be fun to show up in the parking garage in a Lamborghini, invite co-workers to my house at Lake Tahoe or a Maui condo for a weekend, or for a day out on the bay in the yacht.

I would do nothing. I love the lifestyle of waking up at 3:30pm, masturbating, and then watching Netflix the rest of the day. LOVE IT.

Not sure if you realize this but if you won a billion dollars you could hire someone to masturbate you. And they can work the remote for the Netflix too. Then all you would need to do is sleep.

I would quit working for sure. Take the wife on a long vacation and donate money, buy a few houses all over the US and drive around see the country and world. Help family etc.

No, I wouldn't retire, but no longer would I work for somebody else.

In a heartbeat. I would run, not walk out the door. And I would never again do anything I didn't WANT to do. Man, what a life!

Peculiar, how such an un-philosophical question got so many responses in such a short time.
