Hah! And just like that it got sunnier, although it is still raining lightly.

Five minute storm did manage to fill all the low areas with water though, my gutters are still dumping at capacity.

We haven't had any hail but it sure has been raining up here in the Verde Valley. Very dark, sometimes pretty windy, and constant rain. Sometimes hard and sometimes drizzle, but not quitting!

Had a wallop just now in North Phoenix 85027 - a few moving cars had some damage to the front. . From the radar looks like some rain for a short time. As always, quick fast moving and localized storm.

I don't know about a 5 minute storm, it was going for a good hour or more over here near Greenway and I-17.

Hail the size of golf balls does, indeed, exist.

The hail lasted at least 10 minutes. Rain off an on (heavy) for well over an hour now. Thunder. Lightning. Quite proud of myself for actually thinking, in the middle of all H breaking loose to take photos and put some of the hail in bags in my freezer.

Near white-out in Chandler about 45 minutes ago. I wanted to take a pic, but we're not supposed to have camera's here at work. Lame!
