I didn't know that there are off peak hours. Is that really true? Wow...I used to look forward to weekends so I could hang out and have fun and now I'll be excited for them just to crank the air down!
BTW - I like it super cold at night - 68 and then my giant, hot goose down piled on top of me. Due to the economy I keep it at 76 at night and 78 during the day.

Depends on your provider and what rate plan you're on.

Day and night 81 for the whole AC season. Ceiling fans in every room. Humidifier on all day.

Considering a swamp cooler.

80 is our standard setting. 76 on the bedroom side at night. 90 on peak (3 hours SRP). 76 right before peak hours.

78 most of the time, except 83-84 on peak (SRP) 3 hours. Keep ceiling fan on in bedroom while sleeping.

Interesting that lots of people have it much cooler at night. We're the other way round - 78 during the day, and then we don't even have the aircon on overnight! By the morning it's around 84, then the aircon comes on at 7am to cool it back down again.

Wow, definitely interesting. Here in the pacific nw, 80 is considered hot. When we finally get down there, depending on how we adjust to the heat, I imagine it will be 72 during day, 75 at night.
