paying about $35 a mo total. Internet speed is great, I'm a fiber connect, w/ 7mbs service. I have to call back in every six months and request an Internet Loyalty discount and it'll remain $35, if you don't ask/request, it'll go up automatically!

I switched from having Cox for 7 years and tired of having a rate increase everytime I turned around. Do I liked Century Link? They are okay for what I do. I have the $19.99 plan for 5 years. I haven't (knock wood) had any problems yet. The straw that broke the camels back was when I received my cox bill and it was over a $50 a month increase. They said one of my promotions ran out and they had a rate increase. When they wouldn't work with me to decrease my bill I said goodbye to them. Don't get me wrong, I loved Cox, just not their prices.

Plus, Cox locks you into a two year contract where you must pay if you broke service. They don't even have to inform you about the obligation, you are considered to have had constructive notice just by singing up for the service! I had a year lease and had to got charged $120 to cancel my service!!

I signed up for Cox September 2012 and canceled in December because I had to move out of state and they didn't charge me a penny for canceling.
