I don't care for the reserved seating. I'd rather walk in and check it out and pick my seats based on the "clientele". The sound system has to be heard to be believed though.

Some people are taking exception to the edge of town comment, but it is what it is. There's areas of Chandler, Scottsdale, Peoria etc that I would also call the edge of town, I agree.
I'm not taking exception to anything other than not having jobs. With 125,000 people, all professions can prosper. Well, maybe not engineering.

Entertaining to hear proponents of various instances of BFE argue over which is worse.

West side BFE and East Side BFE both suck. Because they are BFE.

Central west valley still sucks. East Valley still is great. Central Phoenix is great.

Home values, job opportunities, cultural attractions, foodie options, public transit availability, and population levels all support this statement. Case closed, jury adjourned!

Where you live is great for a gay couple, young hipsters, DINK's or empty nesters

Weird my $700,000 house in Chandler says property values can be ok in other areas too.

The west is not totally devoid of high paying jobs. Bechtel, a global engineering and project management firm, with real engineers with PEs not some geek coders who think they are "engineers" is on the 101 in Glendale. Skanska USA is another global engineering firm. They have offices in north Peoria. In fact, most of the firms I worked for in my eng career were in the south, central, or west. Never had a job on the east side.

I agree with your stance on income. There are plenty of higher paying jobs in the west valley.

I stand corrected on my engineering statement. I was thinking that the majority of the more technical jobs resided near Chandler.

One reason why people want to live in BFE is to avoid that typical liberal pretentious, hipster attitude.
