Do you think we should build the Cubs a new stadium, or let them go to Florida?

While the Cubs' fans should get an award for fattest, loudest, and drunkest; it wouldn't be fair to the other teams. Good riddance; we got the Dodgers.

I am not a Cubs fan but they have the largest economic impact of any Cactus League team so letting them go would be a mistake. However, putting a surcharge on game tickets for all the other teams in the Valley is also a mistake. Put the burden where it belongs, on the fans of the team getting the new stadium.

All the teams get money FROM the Cactus League. So, I don't have a problem, on that basis, with a surcharge on ALL the tickets. As noted above, the Cubs have the biggest econ impact during spring training of all the teams. Keep them here.

Not a penny more for pro sports moguls! We have more sports than any city in the US and are constantly being told that if we don't pony up for this or that handout to some wealthy owner and his multimillionaire employees the world will come to an end. Goodbye Cubs! Let Florida taxpayers subsidize your game.

That's all right buddy, I would be pissed too if Wrigley was filled with 2/3 Dbacks fans. But don't worry you guys have a pool in your ballpark, if you can even call that place a baseball stadium.

Talking No! Keep good 'ol Wrigley and the cr@ppy Cubs in Chigago!

Argh!

You hurt my fillins (feelings)! Take the Cubs? Build a new stadium? Why? Just get Rocky Wurtz (sp?) to buy the Cubbies and turn them into a winning team like he has the Hawks!

Being born and raised in Chicago, having gone through the "Bartman" debacle, lifelong Cub fans seem to (lemming like) follow the Cubs in some Jim Jones sort of devoted fashion- I myself don't know why! I think a lot of it is tradition. And love of the game and that weird Northside Southside thing that exists!

The honorable mayor-for-life Richie Daly (sp?) will hammer the residents of the County of Crook with even more taxes to build a new stadium! No thank you!

Wrigley is too much a part of the city of; Marshall Fields sold to Macys!- another tragedy! Soldier Field- keep our city icons- please! And that includes the cra$$y old Cubs!

Easy there cowboy. They are talking about the spring training home of the Cubs, not the actual permanent new home for the Cubs.

meh, that's ok. I would be pissed too if my team always lost the games that count. If you can call that bunch of guy's that walk on Wrigley a baseball team.
