Just a hint - when you use a slow shutter speed, try adjusting the exposure for the extra light. You can step the exposure down a couple of notches, and you might get more detail in the water.

If you're making a list of future accessory purchases, you might want to add a circular polarizer to it. Think of it this way - it will be easy for people to do holiday/birthday shopping for you from now on!
Slow shutter & lighting is a work in progress for me. Maybe my birthday might bring me a new marco lens. (lol)

I think by next week I'll have made the short trip.

FedupWNY, great shots everywhere.

I wonder if it would be beneficial at some point to start a thread specifically for Rebel shooters to compare notes and tricks. Of course, this might be the thread to do that in, ya know?

It just might be a good place to start having some history behind it. As the word gets out as to just what all the new Rebels can do, an organized thread to share in of like minded would be destined to be a hit. My 1¢ worth.

Has anyone ever had the feeling like some things are just out of reach?
