Just a hint - when you use a slow shutter speed, try adjusting the exposure for the extra light. You can step the exposure down a couple of notches, and you might get more detail in the water.
If you're making a list of future accessory purchases, you might want to add a circular polarizer to it. Think of it this way - it will be easy for people to do holiday/birthday shopping for you from now on!
Slow shutter & lighting is a work in progress for me. Maybe my birthday might bring me a new marco lens. (lol)

I wonder if it would be beneficial at some point to start a thread specifically for Rebel shooters to compare notes and tricks. Of course, this might be the thread to do that in, ya know?
