So, I just wanted to start a thread about school districts that are getting new buildings throughout the metro area. I don't know which ones are. However, a friend of mine went to the Moon Area High School open-house this past Saturday and said the new building is awesome! What other schools are constructing new buildings?

Ambridge Area built 3 new ones in a row, concluding with the high school which opened perhaps 2 years ago now. I get to pay for these. Woohoo. In fact the school board election a few years ago was a total referendum on the crazy spenders in there who were all voted out in the primary, but they get to stay on until the end of the year of course so they pushed forward with the high school plans, and the new folks determined it would waste even more money to stop what was in progress. That's just crap. New buildings are great when necessary, but now about better school performance? The buildings certainly haven't improved the performance.
