This is the official "Show Off Your House" thread. Show us pictures of your house and tell us about it!

I'll go first. Mine is a circa 1906 row-house in Stowe Township.

I think I'm just learning that my house has ghosts, but they seem friendly enough.

It's fun to wonder if the original residents of the house participated in the 1909 McKees Rocks Strike.

I just uncovered the transom window above the front picture window, so I'm very excited. It was covered with a board since the 1960s, when the interior of the house was "updated" with wood paneling. Opening the transom from the outside was mainly for cosmetic effect, as the inside is still closed in. The original glass is cracked, so I'm going to replace it soon, but here's how it looks for now:

Here's the kitchen:

Here's what it looked like when I first bought it:

The ugly old door:

That's weird... I JUST got inside from taking some pictures of the house.

Here's one I already had uploaded though, and it's from last year, as I'm still pulling pictures from my CF card and cropping/resizing.

A ~1925 four bedroom in Perry South. It's a... work in progress. A lot of progress to go.

Ran out of give a damn after the first resize/crop. Oops.

Yeah, if it was a 1950s ranch in Windgap, I certainly would have kept the door, but it just doesn't fit on a pre-war house.

Very cool! Thank you for sharing.
AA, do you think the transom was originally stained glass? Is your place a side-by-side twin or the end of a row?

I wonder why I can't see Irishvan's photo? I can see everyone else's.
