That's generalizing a bit. Maybe they like spaghetti. Or tacos. Or fried chicken. Or hamburgers. Or pizza.

This is true. The news media gets a lot of stuff wrong. Even simple facts. It is amazing really how wrong they often are if you actually know or are involved in a reported story. In the end, news is entertainment.

I think that the PG is trying to find dirt where none exist. The article went after both Sousa and Featherman, as if they are making out like bandits, when in reality they both seem to be decent people trying to make a difference without cashing in.

"In a nod to the community’s challenging location, Superior Motors at first may be open only Thursday through Sunday for dinner, though the hours will be expanded if demand justifies it."

A Superior Strategy? Kevin Sousa's Big Bet on Braddock - Pittsburgh Magazine - April 2015 - Pittsburgh, PA

what happens if demand doesn't justify being open four nights a week for dinner?
two nights? one night?

If its successful enough, maybe he'll build a drive thru window and open a second location in Cranberry?

He's just starting out, Harlan Sanders started out with just a single restaurant that was failing after the interstate was built.

Come one, come all.

Sounds like the chance of success might be better up here.

Isn't demand a question that all new restaurants must hope to meet, and many do not? I can easily see this place bringing many people into Braddock to help spur the economy. The result could be an increase in purchased real estate, and more things going on as Braddock revives itself. Hopefully, Yinzer negativity doesn't kill it.

What is Yinzer negativity, and how would it kill this project? Is this some kind of superpower that us local Pittsburghers have? With this superpower, Yinzers can effect outcomes that mere normal people would have no control over.

Yinzers aren't going to have any effect on whether, or not this restaurant succeeds or fails, as they aren't the targeted clientele.

Is Yinzer negativity really what causes places to close up?
