IF you follow that schedule, you will miss your interview.

I just traveled from Indiana to Pgh last Thursday morning. I was leaving from north of Indiana, so I took Rt 85 to 28 but I left at 6:45 am and was in Lawrenceviille at 8:05. Granted I was going over the speed limit on the northern parts of 28, but leaving at 7 am would easily get you downtown by 9:30. You catch some traffic around RIDC Park near the Fox Chapel exit that continues thru to the Highland Park Bridge, then again at Etna, and then Millvale/40th Street Bridge area.

That's a two hour drive at five AM, let alone during peak traffic.

Were I the OP, I would leave at 6:00 AM and find a place in town to eat and waste an hour to hedge my bet against the frequent accidents and delays that happen on the east routes.

The accelerator must be pressed for the vehicle to proceed past idle speed.

Press down on it and it's no problem.

There's a minimum and maximum speed limit for a reason.

I don't know anyone that has your driving problems...much less a 10,000 vehicle pile up ever occurring. Some people just shouldn't be driving and it's best you've recognized your issues so as to make the road a safer place.

Auto crashes are the leading cause of death for people aged 18-35. It's an incredibly dangerous activity that we take too lightly, so you're correct.

It took me 35 minutes yesterday to drive six miles to Target. Traffic is a real thing that exists and makes trips take longer than you expect.
