Well, that is what parents are supposed to do. I keep telling my kids that. However, I do let them choose their own apartments and furniture and find their own jobs. They seem to be able to manage that stuff fairly well. There is this "fine line" we are all struggling to find.

I miss mine as well. Also my dad. But they were not "helicopter" parents, though my dad tried.

Live in Beaver County in Center Township which is thriving beyond what we had expected when we moved here 11 years ago. Rochester is depressed and it is a shame. If you son is still living there and looking for apartments there are several nice complexes in Center Township. However they may not come up if you use Center Township because Center uses Aliquippa and Monaca post offices. I don't know the names of the apartments off hand, but there is a big complex on Broadhead Road but I am not sure whether it is an Aliquippa or Monaca address. If you see anything with Broadhead Road it is most likely in Center, but you could call and ask. I believe that 500/month is an average in the area and they can surely do better than what they have for that. Also, if they end up being in an apartment when your grandson is in kindergarten then Center is really where he wants to be because we have an excellent school district with beutiful schools. There are also several brand new hotels in the area around the Beaver Valley Mall where you can stay when you visit! Best of luck!
