The OP has a valid point. You know, a lot of people who call themselves Christians believe that they will go to heaven because Jesus died for their sins. Death row is full of Christians. I was told that people will be forgiven for murder, etc, but that refusing to accept jesus christ is the worst sin of all. Words from two of my Fundamentalist neighbors.

Please enlighten me as to when McVeigh and Nichols declared they were conservative Christians. Also, the Oklahoma Federal Building was never rebuilt.

The left will grasp at non-existant straws to defen terrorists. I want to see where the left's loyality falls once the gay bar is built beside this mosque that will be serving pork and 72 virgin drinks.

I agree. The worst ever.

Op, do you have any proof that McVeigh yelled anything before he did what he did in the name of a religion?

If you cannot see the difference here then you really need to have someone help you catch up on what Islam and radical Muslim's are all about.

You get a trophy for posting the worst comparison ever on Cd and probably one of the most anti American post ever.

Thanks for taking the side of 100% of radical Muslims who want to kill any American and using a single nut like McVeigh who never used his religion in any way, shape or form to compare them to.

Sad that you really believe this idea.

Remember something, not all Muslims are terrorist, but 99% of terrorist are radical Muslims and they hate you as an American and want to kill you in the name of their religion.

May I ask what religion are you OP?

One of the kool-aiders already posted about this and of course they are against the bar being built.

Why do the kool-aiders hate America so much?

Are you stating that the 9/11 attackers were acting for the government? You can't separate conservative christers from religion. You know, the ones who want religion in our lives and laws.

There's no difference between the two scenarios except the McVeigh was US born.

c. The bombing of the Federal building was a terrorist act agains the Federal Government, while the 9/11 attack was a symbolic act of terrorism against the US in general (government and civilians) and what the towers represented to the world
There is no mosque at ground zero and the xian church will be rebuilt, but not at the moment, it's in the way of construction.

Terrorists are terrorists.

A. Point is actions taken by one group of extremists does not mean they seak for everyone who is part of that religion

B. Yes, AT Ground Zero a Catholic Church, existed, AT Ground Zero, not several blocks away which is where the proposed Islamic Community Center is. Due to the Church's location any rebuilding would have interfered with the current construction plans at Ground Zero. Due to the fact the proposed Islamic Center is several blocks away, its construction would have no impact on the ongoing rebuilding effort at Ground Zero.

C. Both were terrorist attacks against the U.S
