Indeed

"Pizz Christ" can win a Visual Arts Competition award and be sponsored in part by the National Endowment for the Arts...and taxpayers.

...but, suddenly many are apoplectic that Islam dare be accosted or disrespected.

You don't get it, do you. It's not a "stupid book." It's a religious and cultural symbol. If someone burned a pile of crosses they stole off Arlington cemetery would you call that just a pile of wood and no big deal or would you see the symbolism of that act?

Yup....but then those on the left(amazing that almost all the Muslim apologists ARE leftists) don't see the hypocrisy.

No, they should perform the play. We aren't at war with radical Christians. No one ever said that they couldn't burn the book, but I don't support it.

Pointing the blame isn't solving any problems.

Because Muslims cannot control themselves and murder people when insulted???

Perhaps the issue is with Muslims...

Freedom of speech is nothing but a smokescreen.
I know the good reverend is crazy but he seems to have quite a few potential parishoners on this thread.

Well first off no-one is STEALING the Korans...such hyperbole...

SO lets go with something that actually equates with what is happening shall we?

If some Muslim Imam wanted to burn Bibles he would be free to do so...

End of story.

It is a stupid book to me,I don't really care what Muslims think, just as they do not care what I feel about the Bible.
