Ah Islam, the petulant child of religions. If we don't get what we want we'll cause violence. Just like a 2 year old having a hissy fit because he can't get what he wants.
Muslims bascaily even the non-radical have misjudged their not condemming the violence of the radiacls. They bascailly think that saying they will riot makes nayone pay attention nay more. the wolf crying that has bitten you before.
We have freedom of speech, but with freedom comes responsibility ... this is dangerous for our national security, but also it is the unchristian thing to do.
Isn't this kinda condemning violence? Doesn't this kinda make this thread pointless I suppose?

Sorry but I'm a realist. Politics is a part of the world we live in. We declare ourselves to be a country of religious freedom. Legally, they have the right to build a mosque there. That's America. You don't have to like it but you have to respect their right to build a mosque there. The Muslim world is paying attention and seeing if we are a bunch of hypocrites. It has nothing to do with threatening violence or terrorism if we don't do what they say. That's just the wing nuts exploiting this to suit their agenda of generating anti-Islamic feelings. Sorry but those of us with a brain and can think for ourselves will not allow ourselves to be manipulated. I'm a Conservative but I'm not a member of the Christian Taliban. And yes, the Islamic community needs to do a better job of calling out violent fundamentalists in their community. However, there are idiots on both sides of the spectrum. You are seeing one side in the responses above.
