What is the limit? What about cars that have the bumpers that match the car, how many inches up the car is ok?

agreed. I too personally hate anything that would "mame" a car's look (bumper stickers) that can't be easily removed with just a peel.

IMHO Employers can only control an employee in the workplace. Not in the parking lot. I mean how do you feel about an employer firing a worker because the worker has a deer rifle in his pickup truck? Not so nice when this kind of discrimination is used on you
This happens all the time with the deer rifle. We have had students expelled because they went hunting before school and someone found the gun under a tarp in the back of a pickup.

Schools and work places have a right to moniter what is in the parking lot at school or work. It is a safety issue.

The Constitution says she has the right to say what she wants, even if it's stupid. I admit, the bumper stickers are extreme nutso left. I would think the school was clearly worried about her extreme views being translated into her teaching. I had a couple teachers like that and to them they didn't put their views into their teaching. As the student, they sure as hell did too! And that was on both sides of the political scale.
But one thing I have ask here; A person living off the public dole, buys a vehicle that is selling our Nation out, and is proud of it should be fired for their act against the Nation! If my tax dollar pays you, you shouldn't send that dollar to another nation!
