Oh, yes it is. Freedom of speech is a major threat to the ideology of the left.

The main stream media has reliquished its historic responsibility as a senntinal who challenged the government on behalf of the 'people'.

The news turned propaganda machine is likely the the most grevious tradgedy to befall the USA. The implications go far beyond Pearl Harbor and 9.11 which were tradgedies America will always remember and despite the gravity of those events America was were able to recover.

The betrayal by the media is unforgivable and recovery is in doubt.

Please remember the media organizations who sold their souls for favored status by the radical movement that pulls Obama's strings.

Obama is a creation of that media and his handlers prey on the ignorance of their blind minions and few rabid supporters who are given a voice larger than their movement by the strategical bias of the current main stream medai.

If FOX folds America is doomed.

Beck is a nutcase and it shocks me that anybody takes him seriously.

But fortunately, fewer people do these days - his ratings are down significantly these days, and FNC primetime as a whole is down about 20% lately, and 30% in the 25-54 demo that advertisers pay for. MSNBC and CNN are up in year over year comparisons.

The more they continue their smear campaign, the higher Fox's ratings go.

Great, isn't it? When will the Left realize their influence and intimidation tactics have waned?

You have to do the math yourself, but it's pretty simple:

TVbythenumbers collects cable news ratings here: http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/category/cable-news/

Here, for instance, are ratings for the May 20, 2010:
http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/201...mment-51570083.

Then why do they want to silence Fox?

I notice a stark contract to the right's view on the liberal media, and the left views on the conservatives media..

The conservatives want as much lefty media as possible, because eventually people watching become educated that they are full of ****..

The liberals want to silence the right, shutting them down...

Yep, liberals dont want conservatives exercising their free speech rights..

um.. the viewer ratings that have beck down, are the very same ones that have everyone else down.. its seasonal, little to do with the shows.. But hey, you read it on a liberal blog, so it must be true..

maybe you need to pay a little more attention: what about statements like Krauthammer needs a facelift cause someone doesn't like the way he looks. Is that narrow minded thinking? Or all Republicans are evil people and are rednecks, from poor states? Or all Republicans depend on only FOX for their news and everyone on FOX is a rightwing nut case.

How about comments by libs that anyone who voted for McCain must have been a racist and anyone who doesn't approve of Obama is proving they are racists?

Think about statements like that for a minute..
