It happens (or at least, some people try). What a jerk.

More interesting is the fact that this articles cites a study indicating that 64% of American women who get abortions feel some kind of pressure or coercion to have the abortion. They feel all sorts of negative emotions afterward (up to and including full blown PTSD), and these emotions far outweigh the positives they feel, such as relief.

News

It seems the big issue is that many of these women are not even prepared psychologically for the abortion.

So yeah...what say the pro-abortionists now?
I heard a 'pro-life' evangelist refer to women who have abortions as "sadistic baby killers".

About what I expected from the left. Someone please explain an analogy to this poster.

Study Says Most Women Don't Regret Abortion

Doesn't look like there is much coercion going on, does it?
I highly doubt that, no matter what a survey says. They must've been interviewing the habitual offenders.

Prohibited things like...consuming rare meat, eating fat, working on Sunday (or making others work on Sunday), eating pork, planting more then one type of seed in a field, clipping your beard, wearing more then one type of fabric, eating shrimp/shellfish, letting your wife speak in church....

Many of those demand the death penalty as well, including living in a town where you haven't murdered anyone (including the animals, then burned the town down) practicing a different type of Christianity then you are (apostasy).

Many of the Old Testament's Commandments are already abolished for Christians, but the Teaching of Life and Conception stay. I follow only KJV and my Church, not the liberal genocide on babies.

Default Some in the anti-abortion camp regard birth control as a form of abortion

Seizing an opportunity to appeal to their base, conservative Republicans marked Planned Parenthood for extinction during the budget debates. They won the vote in the House of Representatives last week but lost on Saturday in the Democrat-run Senate.

Anyone that has been payng attention to the movement has known all along that their ultimate goal is to ban all birth control, they have openly stated such in the past. They sometimes try to deny it but those that oppose them do so knowng that this is their real goal.

Prior to watch provided video I would have said that it isn't necessarily hypocritical to be oppose abortion without also having either adopting a child or at the very least become a foster parent.

However, when it comes to the individual in the video who refused to even engage in a thoughtful dialogue about the subject, who claims to be an inner city social worker of some sort, I think that the hypocritical label fits rather nicely in this instance.

A simple answer would have been to say that at this point in her life that she is able to care for a child but if she could she would. She could have also offered that while she was incapable of adopting, that she supported a range of programs and policies that would make it a). easier to adopt black children, b). worked just as hard at promoting the adoption of black children as she does protesting abortion, and that she also strongly supported those programs and policies that provide aid for black women who bring their babies to term.

I didn't hear any of that, all I heard was a prepackage screed lambasting the Democratic Party and the President of the United States, which leads me to believe that her concern about abortion has more to do with the new Republican meme that Democrats are actively supporting black genocide than it does about her opposition to abortion.
