With G.W, you never got the feeling that he was ever leading anything... they felt like he was a moron but a pleasant and decent one who wasn't responsible for the country's decisions the way Obama has been.
Right on target.
Everyone mostly liked George Jr
Everyone mostly hated Dick Cheney
(and I mean - HATED)
The Republicans and Tea Party folks (if the Tea Party even exists anymore) can not stand the fact that President Obama will win the election in 2012. And one of the main reasons that he will win is because they offer zero solutions to any of their criticisms of the president.
When your POTUS has no successful policies to run on all you can do is lie and attack the other party. Plenty of solutions have been offered but since the GOP and independents do not control Congress or the Executive Branch the solutions will not be implemented. Meanwhile the Progressives wish to fundamentally distroy the country through deficit spending and more debt.

just because YOU say that he'll win doesn't mean he WILL. it sounds like you're thinking 'if i write it, then it'll happen'
How about that Republican "Leadership" Conference, have they presented any clue as to what their solutions would be? So far, I hear nothing but "Obama bad".
Obama is a puppet, nothing more than a face on which to hang an agenda.
It matters not what he does or says. sometimes he goes off script and the media washes the archiives or at least forgets the position reversals and flubs to allow Obama to live in a world without yesterdays. .
He can't even predict the issues and bumps in the road 'his' policies generate. He stands up and in so many words says, "oops".
when he is forced to respond he pretends he knew the issue would occur. Well if that's the case why didn't he mention that to the American people in the beginning.
This media created great orator has demonstrated he has no communication skills whatsoever.
Better that he go play golf or shoot some hoops to avoid screwing up 'his' creator's agenda.
The American people recognize a wind bag whose tools consist of rhetoric instead of action and leadership.

I doubt you listened to anything but the usual 30 second soundbites.
I don't agree with Obamas policies but he is a leader. And he is an American.
I disagree. I think Obama has shown more leadership than Bush which is not always a good thing. Obama spearheaded Obamacare despite the odds. I hate Obamacare but he was determined and pushed it through.
Killing Bin Laden was a huge move by Obama. He took the risk of upsetting Pakistan and ordered a clandenstine operation to get him.
With G.W, you never got the feeling that he was ever leading anything and was sort of the front man for a group of minds led by Cheaney, Rove and Rumsfeld. Even GW's father was in the background and had a lot to do with how GW first became governor and then President. He was just a puppet and I think that's why a lot of Americans are not really angry with GW, they felt like he was a moron but a pleasant and decent one who wasn't responsible for the country's decisions the way Obama has been.
Maybe if you didn't follow politics, headlines, or read books, you thought this.
In some perverse way, I agree with your assessment. I was wondering what you thought of Clinton regarding leadership? These days, I'm having a hard time remembering those years!
'Perverse way'? Is that the proper lead in to Clinton? He was maligned by many, but he was a true leader of men. Sure he led with his private part on occassion, but so do most of the married men on this planet in one way or another, or to one degree or another. It's called being human. However, there are some who choose to go outside levels 'accepted' by this society, like Mark Foley's dalliance with young boys, etc. If Clinton had been in office for the Bush-Cheney years, we would be humming along, instead of on the current brink of disaster.
Can We All Agree That Barack Obama Is Not a Leader?
No we cannot agree. I am sure those that started whining about him before he was even elected and have continued to this day nonstop will ALL agree, the majority do not and the proof will be 2012. Enjoy

How is Obama a failed experiment? What were we experimenting with?
Putting a community organizer with no executive experience in the White House and advance ill concieved and flawed Keynesian economic theories.
Liberalism may be okay on paper and in the classroom, but fails in every venue in which it is implemented in real life.
