No, the fascist murdererous dictatorship of criminals is not going to get a pass for that
4) israel would have ALREADY hit them - but Bush stopped them from doing so in 2008
5) we are WINNING in iraq and afghanistan genius, how else could the troop numbers be getting drawn down if we weren't?
6) the number of people in iran is irrelevent, the idea is to wipe that regime, the republican guard, basij and its nuclear weapons program off of the map
7) if we don't, saudi arabia a nd egypt will also go nuclear in a few years, and will without question drop several on iran
8) a nuclear-armed iran will embolden that wretched dictatorship to taking even more aggressive terrorist actions, with its proxies attacking all over the world. With a nuclear umbrella behind them, who would be willing to take them on?

For these reasons and others, a nuclear-armed iran is not a tolerable situation, and will lead to a massive, likely nuclear, armed conflict - if not with the US, then with the arabs leading the way against their sworn enemy, the shia of iran.

A penny of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
Like I said. I am all for Israel doing it. Have at it. Lets get out and take our toys with us.

Who cares if you served, it doesn't make you special.
We are winning nothing.
It's not our job to tell the world what they can do.
We can't take care of the US.

Reenlist and go to the front lines.
Just don't expect anyone to follow you.

Are you seriously claiming that people who oppose a new expensive boondoggle in Iran are "unpatriotic trash?"

I guess I fail to see the "patriotism" in dumping another few trillion on the national debt to finance yet another war-of-choice.

The neocons had their shot, and they blew it on Iraq. Thanks to the internet, we have an extensive multi-media record of their ridiculous, alarmist prewar claims and cost estimates.

Now, some of that same gang of dunderheads and chickenhawks are trying to have another go at things with Iran.

Sorry, but no. Fool me once...

Okay, but you have to understand that means you give up on the world stage and hand over your future to Russia, China and India.

Just so you know..

increased taxation to further fund wars hurts OUR economy. our allegiances seem to be constantly shifting.

look at this from 1994:
Pakistan - The United States Alliance

now the US seems to be aligning itself with india, while pakistan and china ties grow, and pakistan is now the "bad guy" for us.

if we concentrate on fixing what is wrong with the united states economy and fix our unemployment situation, and head towards prosperity again, the other countries will look to us for a trade partner. if we keep sending all of our assets to other countries and destroy our own economy in the process what do we gain?

Economies are powered by consumer spending and savings investment. Unemployed workers earn no wages; they spend little and save less. Economies with high levels of unemployment are stalled economies.
