If I were an Atheist -- then you could say that I'm an anti-gay person with no religious affiliation.

Do you really believe that if you don't believe in God -- that you must then condone sticking it where we all know that you do?

That's not good for our defense. Gay guys might brighten up the place with pretty and colorful decorations and drapes, but there goes my good night's sleep.

I won't feel secure anymore.

Do you really want these guys defending our country...and ask heterosexual soldiers to stand side by side with them?

I'm not so sure that they could even defend San Francisco.
You do realize that gay marines will look the same and be in just good of shape, and depending on the person, be in even better shape, than the heterosexual marines?

I do not feel uncomfortable being around or being friends with someone who is gay. I feel uncomfortable around people like you, who more often than gays, give us your opinion on how you hate them.

Your stereotypes hurt America. Not every gay is flamboyant, not every heterosexual is masculine.

You have a problem with everything, you wont feel secure then.

Yes, if they can make the cut, they should be there.

You're wrong with everything else, you're wrong here.

Gays have been in the military for a long time, things wont change now.

Obama the wonderful - is going to approve gay people side by side with normal soldiers.

It's not just me who's against it. It's the entire military.
Obviously not, go look at the links. Fail.

Lovely photo you found. Here's one for you:

Cpl. Charles Wilfahrt, whose perfect aptitude score could have placed him anywhere in the Army, yet he chose infantry. KIA in Afghanistan. His fellow soldiers named a combat outpost in Kandahar for him. By all accounts an outstanding soldier.

Oh, and gay.

You won't feel secure, you say? You are far more secure than you deserve, having people of Wilfahrt's caliber guarding you - over your objections.

As much as I'd be sorry to lose the chance to exchange pleasantries with an enlightened individual such as yourself, I still think I should point out that you can, in fact, leave at any time.

Thank You Dane,

For you sensibility. And for not considering the feelings of traditional Americans.

Whether you like it or not, many Americans disagree with your stance on homosexuality.

Including the brass in America's Army.

I know that homosexuals want so badly to be recognized as normal.

It just ain't happening for many Americans. But, under Obama, everything you want is possible.

Ignoring my post because it's difficult to respond when your posts have been revealed as not creditable.

You're on the losing side in this, and that is a good thing.

I'm gay and i'm normal. some people like me a born with a homosexual orientation. that's the only difference between me and you. it's a minority variation that for some reason some of us are born gay. being gay is not chosen and that's a fact that i've experienced first hand. being gay does NOT mean that you are promiscuous. I've 34 and have only been with one person. I live a conservative lifestyle, no drugs etc. i'm the TYPICAL BOY NEXT DOOR other than the fact that i'm gay. college graduate, work hard, most of my friends are STRAIGHT guys. I don't care what YOU 'recognize' as far as what you believe is normal. the reality is that i exist, i'm normal, i have one trait that's different from yours, most people have a minority trait in them that's different from others.
