Why do conservatives have no sense of humor? I read the information. It is never fun when you have to explain the joke.

Oh, but these are facts, the libs don't want to hear any of that.
No, we just didn't realize "end of June" and "sounds like" were facts.

I know. I mean I can definitely laugh at my own party (and frequently do). Some things are important, don't get me wrong. Some things are no laughing matter. But something like this...I mean it's irony. You know, the t-shirt that says "My support group told me to go to hell" or "I'd never join a club that would have me as a member" kind of irony.

Ah well! It was kinda funny while it lasted.

This thread has great potential.

This kind of comedy gold has been few and far between in this forum. People don't laugh enough nowadays. I just had a good laugh, it was great.

If someone sues you for no reason and tarnishes your reputation, then yes the Tea Party could counter sue for punitive damages.

Again, when was the trip cancelled?
Never booked a really large event? That blocks out over 1,500 rooms, preventing other booking agencies from getting them?

Large events often have their own contracts, apart from the standard John and Jane Doe staying in one room for a couple nights policy.

The tea party group cancelled two weeks before the event.

The group agreed to pay the hotel $579,148 in the event of a cancellation and $87,996 in interest has since been added to that amount.
