Some of you would be good candidates for a position in the administration. Or a job on MSNBC. Perhaps as a stand-in for Chris Matthews on days when his tingling legs distract him from truth (which is all the time). You have all the TEA party bashing talking points that are distributed to the WH puppets in the mornings - bible thumping, white, terrorist, hostage takers, crazies...all that hate speech that Obama said to eliminate, and replace with "civil discourse". As a leader, he should set the example. oops...my bad. He's not a leader.

Great point! We should all imitate the 'civil discourse' set down by the Tea Party.
All one has to do is read all the posts in this thread to understand why the United States is self destructing......
Americans are stupid to the point they allow themselves to be hoodwinked by the biased media they watch and read.
God forbid people would actually take the time to understand WTF is going on but nooooo all they can do is echo what their party line is.

They are no different than the the town major calling out the people who are possessed and need to confess to the practice of witchcraft. People are so easily manipulated. Just find their emotion button and press it like a kid playing a video game and watch them dance the tune to the prattle.
President Obama is not, I repeat NOT, incompetent. Rather, he has been crippled by a GOP-dominated Congress. Shame on the Dem voters for allowing this to happen. Had Obama's plans been followed, the country would be in far, far better shape. No question. Had a Republican President been in office now, we'd be in far worse shape.
It is clear now, that the GOP stinks. They stunk under Bush. They stunk under Bush Sr before that. They stunk under Reagan before that. Obviously they are stinking up the place something fierce now, just continuing with their Bush-like nonsense. Many on the Right here were claiming some sort of "victory" over the budget battle, too short-sighted to realize that "MORE BUSH" is not good for the country.
GOP created the Tea party. Not good. GOP didn't listen to Obama, goes their own way. Downgrade. Dow drops. The country is in panic mode. President Obama has been right all along, and obviously is going to have to go on the offensive to offset this very pathetic and bigoted segment of our society.
I think we're going to see-saw back and forth for quite a while, adding to our political instability.
