Rush Limbaugh fabricated unemployment data to attack Obama (controversial, racist, ratings)

The St Petersburg Times, a highly-respected news source, did a study on Limbaugh and his accuracy. Their findings found that he was accurate only 31.7% of the time. That means he was inaccurate, lying, or making stuff up 68.3% of the time.
"As I said, the sample size makes it questionable whether these averages are accurate reflections of accuracy,"
So, don't put so much stock in this "report".
And yet so many people are totally willing to buy Limbaugh's assertion that he is 98% accurate? And that assertion is based on what? Limbaugh's personal fantasies?

I wonder if the same posters who believe the 31.7% number on Limbaugh also believe that Hannity is the second most honest, behind George Will? I doubt it. Likely a case of pick and choose. I doubt if anyone is accurate 98% of the time.
Good job coming up with one thread. I did a 6 month search and found 4 threads about Olberman. I also did a 6 month search for threads with "Limbaugh" in the thread title. There are 30 such threads. So that means there 7+ times as many threads about Limbaugh as there are about Olberman. Most of those Limbaugh threads were started by the same cabal of CD leftists. I have to ask myself, "Why is the left so obsessed with him?"
I don't watch Olberman nor do I read the threads about him. That's why I never weigh in on them.

You did a 6 month search but Olbermann has been out of the picture for 7 months.

I believe it. I think Hannity is smarmy (he reminds me of a young kid trying to impress the conservative parents of his girlfriend, the whole barbershop quartet feeling of his wardrobe feels artificial), but I don't think he's making things up out of thin air. George Will, I think, actually is a principled man. I believe that he feels an obligation to try to be accurate and truthful. He relies on his reputation of credibility.

Didn't know that. (And don't care, either, as I never watched him.)
Went back to the drawing board and found that in the past year there have been a total of 8 Olberman threads and 51 Limbaugh threads.
Still wondering why the leftists here are so obsessed with Limbaugh. The righties don't seem to care much about starting threads bashing left wing radio/TV personalities.
ETA: Just saw on another thread that Olberman has a show on Current TV so he's back on the airways.
