Cops are in unions too. Or they're scared.

Default Union workers in Washington state take hostages, go all apes*** 'cuz they can.

Longshoremen shut down Washington ports - US news - Crime & courts - msnbc.com

Hundreds of Longshoremen stormed the Port of Longview early Thursday, overpowered and held security guards, damaged railroad cars, and dumped grain that is the center of a labor dispute, said Longview Police Chief Jim Duscha.

On Thursday, six guards were held hostage for a couple of hours after 500 or more Longshoremen broke down Longview gates about 4:30 a.m. PT (7:30 a.m. ET) and smashed windows in the guard shack, he said.

No one was hurt, and nobody has been arrested.

Yeah...because being taken hostage after a mob breaks down your gate and windows is just another day of "meh."

Every Union member involved should be charged and prosecuted.

I feared this would happen. Elements of Obama's base are going to become more violent as Election Day approaches.

Many are but not all. It is not necessarily a requirement of employment depending upon the agency and size of department. IMO, no one should ever be forced to join a union in order to work; thus "right to work" states will always have a place. Cardcheck is an attempt to bully folks into voting union by taking away the secret ballot.

Shareholders of BNS should demand it; however, since Buffet's Berkshire Hathaway is a huge shareholder he wouldn't go out of his way to make Obama look bad.
