I shortened your post to make a point. So now, he's a little kid who wants to be a girl. So in a few years, what's going to happen when he grows out of that phase and wants to be a man? It'll be too late if his peepee has been hacked off. Responsible parents do not let the whims of a small child dictate life-altering decisions such as this one. Heck when I was that age I wanted to eat ice cream three meals a day but my parents were responsible enough to make sure that that wasn't happening.
First off the title is misleading since the boy is 11. Second off most kids once they hit puberty with hormone blockers or not will end up realizing that what they wanted as kids is really not who they are. After that they will not begin hormone therapy to transition until the age of 16 with surgery not happening until they turn 18.
He is 11 today, but the treatment started when he was 8.

California laws are very gay friendly, and the doctors and lawyers will agree to pretty much anything to appease the gay community. I hope the CA voters take this as a wake up call, and do what is necessary.
Any person, esp children going through GRS go through heavy heavy amounts of therapy. The suicide rate among transgenders as teens is fairly high, so perhaps the concept of doing nothing is not healthy.

Wow this can't be true. It's insane to do this and use the excuse that it is better to do when so young? what BS that is. The women deserve to have him taken from them to do something like this. It is better to wait for him to decide for himself what he truly feels and wants. He will grow to hate them for taking that away from him. If they truly loved their child they would instead show it by saving up their money to help him pay for any surgery "he" wants not what they think he would want. Jesus even the children being born both male and female hate what was done to them because they grew up regretting not having the right to decide for themselves and wait for them to be fully developed to decide which sex they want to be not what the parents or Doctor decided for them.
